Legendary R&B singer and actress Whitney Houston was found dead in a fourth-floor suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California, submerged in the bathtub. The cause of death is not immediately known. Rivaled by few, Houston enjoyed the success of a flourishing career that spanned multiple decades, however, Houston’s career and image would become tarnished by her controversial marriage to R&B counterpart Bobby Brown, and her ongoing public battle with severe drug addiction. Houston was 48-years old at the time of her death.
